James (2008)
Young and confused James is struggling for support as he accepts to some degree of certainty that he is gay. He is not close to his parents and he has no friends but he badly needs someone who will listen and reciprocate with understanding. Presuming that he could count on Mr. Sutherland, his teacher, as he shows him some concern, he courageously reveals what is troubling him but contrary to his anticipation, his teacher asks him NOT to approach him again for his own good and instead suggests that he goes to counselling in school or online help for proper guidance. Now more upset, James decides to turn to a stranger he meets earlier in a public toilet...
