A deliciously claustrophobic, moody novella from Britain’s Isle of Wight distills the last 24 hours in a relationship between two lads who appear to have everyone’s wet dream: a get-away-from-it-all oceanfront paradise almost all to themselves. Anthony is increasingly frazzled from the emotional toll of looking after his invalid mom, while his humpy boyfriend is suspiciously preoccupied with his Polaroid camera. Director Jason Bradbury squeezes a proper English buttoned-up weepy from all the fog and ennui.
