The Place Between Our Bodies (1975)

A tender and personal film about gay male identity as the narrator/filmmaker searches for the perfect man amidst the dizzying sexual cornucopia that was 70's San Francisco. As he contemplates the immediate appeal of promiscuity and pornography, he longs for the loving embrace of a singular one and finds it in the arms of a boyishly handsome young man.

An explicitly raw exploration of gay male sexuality that is not so common yet so affecting that it certainly should have been experienced by some.
